With over 15 years’ experience as a professional musician, composer, music director, and sound director for film and corporate communications, I’m known for my seamless melding of rich synthesised electronic textures and hauntingly delicate piano tones to create emotionally driven moments on film and in gaming.
Tech-savvy and unbound by genre, I produce pieces that mesh elements of jazz, soul, classical and electronica, drawing on elements of each to create my distinct sound. For my clients, I compose music that enriches any story and truly captures the emotional narrative of their project.
Born in Nottingham, UK, my love of music began with my Super Nintendo and parents record collection.
Frequent exposure to different styles of music on long car trips, birthed an eclectic mix of self-taught favourites ranging from jazz to soul, to classical music, to funk and electro-pop.
After having no interest in formal music training at school, it clicked in 2010 when I completed the forward-thinking BA (Hons) Music (Jazz) degree - the first of its kind in Europe – at the Leeds Conservatoire.
For the next four years I sharpened my versatility and improvisation tools as music director, musician, and bandleader on different luxury cruise ships, leading to supply world-class residency acts to clients like Hard Rock Cafe, at Hear and Now Entertainment
